Tucson Police investigate in-custody death

Tucson Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the in-custody death Sunday of 35-year-old Benjamin L. Sotelo, according to a media release from the department issued Monday morning.

Sotelo died after a struggle with police. Officers were called to the area of Speedway Boulevard and Interstate 10 to investigate a report of “a man with a gun.”
