1 killed, 1 wounded in early morning shooting

A 61-year-old man was found shot to death early Friday morning inside a home on Tucson’s southwest side, police said.

About 12:30 a.m. Tucson police responded to the 5900 block of South Birchwood Drive, in Midvale Park near West Drexel and South Mission roads, where a 47-year-old man met police outside, Tucson Police Department spokeswoman Sgt. Diana Lopez said.
